Marlborough's production presents Richard's ruthless and bloody quest for the throne as a game of chess where his family and court are merely pawns that he uses to achieve his aim. The protagonists perform against a backdrop created entirely by the cast themselves using physical theatre. The cast consists of some of the most talented students from years 7-11.
Winners: Guinness World Record for contributing to being the largest number of students speaking Shakespeare in one night.
